I'm a Graduate from Texas State University - San Marcos , accredited Computer Scientist with a minor in Applied Mathematics. Class of 2020.

Why Computer Science?

The plan originally was to create video games. But Texas State in 2014 didn't have a 'Bachelor of Science in Video Game Studies' Major, so Computer Science had to do.

What do you want to do with CS?

Statistics and Analytics for an NBA team, although my prior Summer 2019 internship with Surge Energy has opened my ambititons to work outside of the sports industry. .

Began learning HTML5 and CSS simultaneously.

As recent as the Spring 2019 semester, I have practiced and created Java projects.

Python

My programming language of choice, I am primarily creating my analytic projects with Python.

Although new to databases, I have taken Texas State's introductory course, along with having hands-on practice through my summer internship with Surge Energy!

Programming Languages I'd Like to Learn

R / R-Studio

This language will be a staple in handling numeric data, alongside being a vital visualization tool in the analytics industry.

Kotlin

An emerging mobile development programming language, which will be vital in porting future analytic tools and applications to Android, the fastest growing and largest non-iOS platform on the planet.

React JS / JavaScript

Discovering the ease of web development has motivated me to become familiar with at least one JavaScript framework just-in-case it may prove to be a benefit later.
